Nestled along the Chesapeake Bay, our teeny tiny flower farm is proof that beautiful things grow in small places. Each season, we cultivate a thoughtfully curated collection of specialty blooms, embracing the beauty of local, seasonal flowers. While our fields may be small, they inspire everything we create—from handcrafted bouquets to our signature Bloom Bar experiences—bringing a little piece of the farm to every arrangement.

Bloom Girls
Like many people, there was a season in my life when I needed something that brought me peace. I found it with my hands in the garden. Digging in the dirt became my therapy, and no matter what life was throwing my way, I always found myself picking up a small bouquet during my weekly grocery trip. There is something so special about fresh flowers in the home—they bring joy, beauty, and a gentle reminder to slow down and appreciate life's simple moments.
The theme of this chapter has been "Be still, and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10), a verse that has carried me through many seasons. Life can be stormy, but every storm eventually gives way to calm waters, golden sunsets, and new growth.
I often joke that my daughter is my green thumb. Before becoming a mom, I couldn't even keep a houseplant alive. Now, nearly six years later, our home is overflowing with greenery that stretches right into our yard—the home of our teeny tiny flower farm just across the street from the beautiful Chesapeake Bay. Sharing the joy of growing flowers with my little sidekick has become one of life's greatest blessings. You'll often find us barefoot in the garden, soaking up the sunshine right alongside the blooms.
For over a year, my daughter begged me to help her run a lemonade stand. The only problem? Anyone who knows me knows the kitchen is not my happy place. I wanted to make her dream come true, so I started thinking outside the box. Fifty dahlia tubers later, inspiration struck: flowers.
We set up a little self-serve bouquet stand, and before I knew it, God opened doors I never could have planned myself. Everything fell into place so naturally that I couldn't ignore the feeling that this was exactly where I was meant to be.
Today, Bay Bouquet has grown into so much more than a flower stand. From weddings and special events to birthdays, proms, anniversaries, and "just because" bouquets, we love creating floral designs that celebrate life's meaningful moments.
Our signature Bloom Bar has become one of our favorite ways to share flowers with the community. It's an interactive floral experience where guests create their own custom bouquets by hand-selecting their favorite blooms—because one Bloom Bar truly offers endless possibilities.
We're also incredibly grateful to partner with other amazing local small businesses, including Keks & Crumbs, Potomac Farm Market, and many more. Building community through flowers has become just as rewarding as growing them.
